An awning tensioning alternative frequently used the Staple System Awning. The Staple System Awning offers the ability to use with almost any awning cover. First, the cover is stapled to the frame and then the vinyl insert is used to hold the awning into the staple groove, leaving a tight surface.

There is almost never a need to remove the awning to replace the cover, as the only required steps are to remove the vinyl inserts and the awning cover and reinstall the new inserts in the existing system.
